CARE Clinic is proud to announce it has received $1.1 million in federal congressional spending to support the creation of a permanent home for CARE Clinic and to expand its dental clinic services.
This significant investment was made possible through the advocacy of U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar and U.S. Senator Tina Smith, who championed the funding on CARE Clinic’s behalf. The funds will strengthen CARE Clinic’s long-term stability and increase access to essential health care services for patients who are uninsured or enrolled on Medicaid or MinnesotaCare in the region.
“This funding represents a transformational moment for CARE Clinic,” said Julie Malyon, Executive Director. “A permanent home and expanded dental services will directly support our ability to continue providing high-quality, compassionate care to those who need it most.”
The expansion of the dental clinic will help address ongoing unmet oral health needs in the community, improving overall health outcomes and reducing barriers to care.
Additional details about the project timeline and next steps will be shared in the coming months.
